VR Animated short, Mescaform Hill, heads to Tribeca

This year, Dren Audio Directed and Composed the score for a unique VR animated short, Mescaform Hill: The Missing Five, directed by Edward Madojemu. It was accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival 2022, in the Immersive part of the festival. The announcement is here. We recorded live strings and vocalists for this score that walks a line between traditional Nigerian music and modern score, utilizing modular synthesis, fretless banjo, nylon string guitar, and processed mbira and ballaphone.
