Gordon Ramsay Dash Nominated for 3 Game Audio Network Guild Awards

The 15th Annual Game Audio Network Guild Awards take place again this March during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. A game for which nerdtracks was responsible for all audio and implementation, Gordon Ramsay Dash, was nominated for 3 awards this year: Best Music in a Casual/Social Game, Best Sound Design in a Casual/Social Game and Best Handheld Audio. It is nominated alongside other fantastic titles such as Hearthstone, Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, Finding Dory: Just Keep Swimming, and one of my favorites from this year, Bejeweled Stars. It's completely cliché to say this, but to simply be mentioned in the same sentence as all of those titles (many of which we look to for inspiration) is a real treat. Acknowledging excellence in game audio is one of the many virtues of the Game Audio Network Guild and it's one of the ways that it really helps our industry understand our part in game development.
