Skulls of the Shogun is now on STEAM! The “BONE-I-FIDE” Edition has new characters, levels and is on STEAM!! Check it out here!

There's an interview with me at Designing Sound where we talk a lot about Skulls of the Shogun and how I made some of the sounds.

The game is also available on XBLA, iOS, Android, Win8, WinPhone, and Surface. I worked as principal sound designer on this title with the very small team. I also had the chance to perform a little bit of voice acting and to direct a few of the actors (Nils Frykdahl, Sarah Elmeleh) doing our ‘pseudo-non-japanese-fake-language’ created for the game.

UPDATE: Reviews are coming in and it’s received 9/10 from eurogamer, 10/10 from StickSkills, 8/10 from Polygon, 9/10 from Official XBOX UK Magaizine, an A- from Destructoid, and a 4.5/5 from Game Revolution, who also said “all of the sound effects, from the crunching of skulls to the swinging of swords, are super-satisfying and really enhance the experience.” The fabulous Tim Schafer (DoubleFine) tweeted “Really loving Skulls of the Shogun so far.
