MESCAFORM HILL: The Missing Five VR
In 2022 NERDTRACKS was involved in the Tribeca honored VR animated short, Mescaform Hill: The Missing Five, directed by Edward Madojemu. NERDTRACKS was responsible for the Audio Direction and Composition. It was accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022, in the Immersive part of the festival. Our team recorded live strings and vocalists for this score that walks a line between traditional Nigerian music and modern score, utilizing modular synthesis, fretless banjo, nylon string guitar, and processed mbira and ballaphone.
